SRC Member beaver Posted March 27, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 27, 2006 Hi Reefers, As above. What are its basis requirements? Water parameters, lighting requirements, current flow, placement etc? Are they easy to keep? Thanks & Regards

SRC Member Qxnviolet Posted March 27, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 27, 2006 In my experience, my star polpys likes having a gentle to medium flow on them. Are yours in a shaded area...if it get enough light and with suitable flow...they'll open. They are hardy and take some time to open up fully if its newly aquired. Mine once stayed closed for more than a week. In my opinion, don't worry too much and as long as you don't have any nuscience algae growing over the polyps, they'll open sooner or later. SRC Member Qxnviolet Posted March 27, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 27, 2006 By the way, i think you should start a new topic if your questions are totally unrelated to the topic started. Some people might not like it....personally, it doesn't matter to me! Good luck with your polyps!
