This is like my 69th time my fish did the david copperfield

This time round .. it did not survive .. I found the shrivelled body trapped between the filter wool and the grating .. sigh ..

sooooo far .. all the fishes that jumped are gobies ..

3 hi fin gobies

2 yashias

2 blennies

ARGH .. only the 2 blennies are still around :cry2::cry2:

There is a grate (any smaller and my water flow is restricted) .. there is a wool to prevent them from going into the overflow and also to trap rubbish ..

yet .. they still end up there :(

I used to have the same problem, 2 x long nose, 1 x royal gramma jump to their death. I make the wall higher by putting the teeth and i cover it with a basket. Maybe you can try. so far no jumping incident even though i see my 3rd long nose checking out the IOS *touch wood

Thanks for the help .. and the idea :)

I'll go get some netting meanwhile .. don't think they jumped over though .. they probably swam across the barrier (think width is too wide)
