Bubble help

these are my first LPS ... i got 2 bubbles ... green in colour at dirt cheap price ... but they din seem to be doing well at the LFS ... dunno where to place them ... now experimenting on diff locations ... so far only open abit ... 1 day old only .. how long would they take to fully extend ?

if the bubble corals werent doing well at the lfs, theyll need some time to regain their health, so you should place them in an area where they will receive moderate flow (sufficient to see their tentacles swaying slightly), and where there will be good light coverage. it will help too if you can target feed the colony using a syringe or turkey baster type thing to squirt some mysid shrimps onto its tentacles. though it is probably able to meet its carbon budget through photosynthesis, it is unlikely to be able to recover without additional feedings, as that will take considerable energy.

hmm wat u mean by extend tank space to me ? help me nurse the corals ah ? anyways.. im thinking of tt ... ask a reefer help me care for a while ... coz im going overseas ... dunno if i can get it up and healthy before i leave .. mebbe i give him the other frag foc if helps or something ... 2 bubbles in my tank is too much liao ..

as for mi i dun do target feeding . just dose DT and provide good lighting and water

my hammer , bubbles and frogspawm are doing well

2x1.5x1.5 tank

Lighting: AI hydra 52HD

Skimmer: Deltec SC 1455

Reactor: Minimax; rowaphos

Skimz  ; NP biopellets

Wave Maker: MP 40 WQD

Return pump: Eheim 1262

Chiller: Arctica 1/10 hp
