I've been wanting to do it but juz holding on to compare the deg. that is can cool down compare to the fan. As it's one side cold and the other side hot, and the cube is enclosed with the canopy - so the exhaust fan must be more effective to pull the hot air out; else the hot air will be keep circulating inside the cube. SRC Member chrisyew Posted March 21, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 21, 2006 Max, The T4 top piece and bottom piece are they same 8W? Think can squeeze in 3x8W too if you use the pin connector of the PL light instead of the standard one from T4. Can't see your bottom piece T4 light connection, is it using the pin connector wire? Good mod, and that's what I'm doing yesterday too but still haven't get the pin connectors yet. Those reflectors are they cut from the existing ones or those sold by Reborn?? SRC Member Maxstar81 Posted March 21, 2006 Author SRC Member Share Posted March 21, 2006 Monki, Yipee ! I win liao. chrisyew, I was refering to the MODing of the T4 lights, not nano chiller. Still waiting for etuceojoj to point me in the right direction. The top white light is slightly shorter than the one from dama which is the bottom blue light. Dunno what is pin connectors. Just use wires & tape up the side. U can put more T4s in but i made use of existing screws as seen in No. 2. So no more liao. Have to think of other methods if wanna put more in. The reflectors are cut from a 2 ft reflector.

You may use velcro too if there is a need as the tube is tight fitting once the plastic splash guard is screw back. So both are 8W?? If fact I think this T4 tube (white one) are also 6500K. Hm? What splash guard ??? The stock cover ? I never use it. Yup both 8W and yes the white is 6500K.

The splash guard is the transparent plastic sheet for the lights. You didn't use them?? Is good as it prevents corrosion later on.
