Even myself is quite sure that MGM-CapitaLand will win, take a look at the combo the standards of MGM Mirage - Bellagio, and the backing of CapitaLand (and of course Temasek).

But then, the black horse Genting can also win...

I dont know who the "winner" is going to be, but certainly the losers are going to be the citizens of Singapore.

The casinos are going to make it easier for more Singaporeans to gamble and all the problems that gambling brings to society.

Casino is just one part of it, you have other entertainment channels...look at our adjoining neighbours, religious but have casino for the longest time...

The benefits will outweigh the less desirables..."making it easier" is the kind of statement that rulers with ironfist will say, the prostitution centres are around Singapore, those will go will go, those will not will not...therefore should there be people who will get into trouble as they have a liking for ills, they would have gotten into trouble anyway...

Read a report today and quite confirm (based on educated guess/knowledge) that MGM-Capital should win. The scorecard from D** indicates very high chance.
