SRC Member jas_soh Posted March 19, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 19, 2006 Yo reefers! I'm wondering if any of you are successful in keeping an anemone using T5 lights? Is the light sufficient to keep a small anemone or not? SRC Member Tanga Posted March 19, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 19, 2006 Yes it can survive but will climb up the rocks and will go near the water surface.
SRC Member Panzz Posted March 19, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 19, 2006 yes it will be but it depends greatly on how deep your tank is.

SRC Member arcanehacker Posted March 19, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 19, 2006 My tank is about 1.5ft in height... intending to place it midway to near surface area... huh?.. I tot anemone always move around? They will probably stay at the place they feel most comfortable.. Quote Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth? SRC Member Panzz Posted March 19, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 19, 2006 anemone do not always move around. when they always move, it means that the water quality around them does not suit them, and so they move in search of areas with better water quality or even light. for 1.5ft, the lights should be sufficient.
