Did you take into consideration that PUB does a reading only quarterly, so the previous months are based on estimated only.

Just my 2 cents.

Hrmz, i thought PUB takes the reading every alternate month? My electrical bill for Feb is around $96. Aircon for 1 room on around 12 hrs a day. I think its your lighting thats taking up alot of power. Using a CL450 for my 3.3FT.

Just to share, mine config is:

Lights = 500w (2 x 250w MH - 6 hrs daily)

Pump = 245w (1 x Artica Chiller 1/5HP, 1xCR, 1xFR, 1xKR, 1xReturn pump - 24 hrs daily)

Lights = 022w (1 x sump - 12 hrs)

Total house bill around $160 - $180(max)

* If you are considering total electricity charges then you need to look at your other household electricity usage and how often you use it in a month. I think is better you add up your total reef system electricity comsumption and calculate the charges based on your reef system alone would give you a better picture.

I think is ok lah...mine always between 300-350 for electricity only. don't know what thing suck so much.

4 room flat only where got big.

my is a 3ft tank.

1x 150w MH x 7hrs

2x 27w blue light x 8hrs

3x pump total 205w 24/7

1x uvc 11w 24/7

1x chiller 200w aga running 12hrs

others another 50w or so.

over here around $50-$60 a month at the rate of 0.2012.

the rest go to my home eletrical stuff liao. every month siong

Nope...heard of some power saving devices around but haven't heard of any that has very good feedback. Carrefour sells them i think. Your wife family got aircon?

nope they using fan. her house don't need fan also can very windy. hmmm...think must go down to car4 to have a look at it.

Wah you sure know how to conserve electricity.

Mine averages at 150 for 1 person living alone in a 5 room flat. That is also no chiller forft tank, Eheim canister filter and 30W T5 Light on for only 2hrs a day because its fowlr tank

Hrmz, this is what happens on a normal day. Aircon on for 12 hrs. Tank lights(T5) for about 10 to 12 hrs. My chiller is set at 27 degrees. Either the tv or the com will be on when im at home. But well, my bill fluctuates from month to month, hope the bill for next month remians the same.

only my wife and me live here.

maybe my marine temperture is hot. upto 34 degree without chiller ( 3 pump, 3ft tank)

my freshwater 5ft without chiller will be 31 degree . ( 1 pump)

found that marine chiller cut in offen.

When free, will used stop watch to find the result......
