brine shrimp won't be effective..

What you need is very strong smelling food...like cyclops...or blended mussels, shrimp etc...

You will also need a very strong skimmer to do cleaning up later.

Always something more important than fish.

Low lite is good and good flow.

Use prawn to lure it.

suncorals dun need any light at all.. just entice it.. i heard one reefer did was to put it inside a bucket then put salt water and entice it there with brine shrimp..

sounds like a good idea..

I don't think this is a good idea. It may stress your suncoral each time you take it out and put it into a bucket. Sooner of later, you will find that it is quite troublesome to do so and you may end up feeding your sun coral less frequently. :(

Bear in mind that your tank nutrient export capacity must be able to cope with the bio-load increased by feeding of suncoral. ;)

I tried, does not work well as only a few open up. And it is more work having to bring it out into bucket, stressing it I think.

Now I put in in strong current flow and many more are opening up.
