Hi reefers, Just bought one orange and green ricordeas attached to a small piece of rock yesterday and placed it near to the sandbed with little flow. This morning, that fellow went MIA, after searching high and slow, discovered the fellow hiding inside the hole of a LR. Then my main concern is whether it deattachs and moves to a suitable location? should i leave it here 4 a few days or take it out? (kind of difficult to get the fellow out)

Thanks

r u talking about the florida ricordea?

that's too expensive to let them "hide" in the LR! :o

anyway they need light and also space to expand....

I think they are not anchor yet so pls find a very low flow open area for them

I experience the same problem where 1 or 2 of my ricordea will drift off to elsewhere ... no trick to park them permanently but just have to keep bring them back to where I want them to be :P

sandbed not a good idea

I believe over time these mushroom will try to stick to something stable.

my 2 cents

Thks guys. The problem is it's attachment itself deep inside the hole but light still avail. I only worry if try to remove it,might cause injuries to the ricordeas

Any suggestions on how to get that chap out of the hole? It seems to me it's firmly attached to the outline contour of the rock and it's deep in. Any tools I could use to minimal injuries
