Nitrate reducer product

Any bros use nitrate reducer as a way to maintain low nitrate level? Any opinions on product like NZ03 (cant remember the exact name). Any recommendations?

has been keeping my nitrate really <5mg/l for a month now with only 5% water change fornightly

however a effective skimmer and good oxygenation of the tank must be employed .

underdose is better than overdose in my opinion

Yes this product works but will reduce redox level. Also when using,don't on your ozoniser & wash/change mechanical filtration wool as often as possible.

now - i dun need it. change water regular if cheapest n maintain < 5ppm.

I agree... IMO if you have sufficient LR, a good mechanical filter (changed regularly) and protein skimmer... shouldn't have NO3 more than 5ppm unless you have major die-offs, overstocked or overfeed.

I have used AZ-NO3 for abt 2 weeks already jus checked NO3 still the same I dunno if 2 weeks should show anything.... but I just realise that I am using PUR-II and some carbon....will these asorb away the AZ-NO3?
