If your butterfly is NEW to the tank, do the following:

1) remove the coral into a QT for the time being,

2) Feed your butterfly with the regular food first, to let it get used to your daily hand-outs, so that it wun harrass ur corals.

3) Subsequently introduce back your corals, and monitor if the butterfly will still nib at it. Your hope is that it wun anymore.

This will take some time for the butterfly to get used to YOUR feed, and it wun go nibbing around on its own.

If it still doesn'y, then too bad, give up on ur butterfly or ur corals. make a choice then, cuz its in the nature of butterfly to nibble at meaty corals. Next time, before getting a fish / livestock, do your homework first and understand the nature and husbandry of it before committing to get one. Good luck and reef onz~
