SRC Member tineng Posted March 8, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 8, 2006 mine never eat and was in take for about 4 months....and grew by about 2 inches.....as long as it is pecking at your rocks it should be fine. I guess the key is to ensure you have enough algae in your tank (a slighly dirty tank with ditom bloom here and there)....personally, iches will present more of a challenge.... SRC Member tineng Posted March 9, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted March 9, 2006 tangs are glazer.....they would normally like to be pecking at algae....what did when my tank was new was to use a empty container, put in used salt water and a few live rocks and leave in the sun....ditom will grow in 1-2 day, then put these infected rocks to the tank....but if your tang refuses to eat even this, you might have a problem.....
