Color of SPS

Hi,

I'm wondering whether a brown color sps can develop bright red, green, or blue color once settle in a reef tank? Or do they have to come in colorful variant in the first place? Also, any body use VHO actinic? Is there a different in the color of sps after using them or is it just for anesthetic view? Will 6500 Kelvin maintain the color of sps? Any info is appreciated. depends on original colony. an originally brown sps will be brown. 6500k is good for growth . for colour try higher K . what do u mean difference in colour after using them.

i thought they were made with 110volts and not 220volts for us ..

Not Tanzy but....VHO can be used with 220 so long as you have the correct ballast. The bulbs couldn't care less, it's the ballast that is important.

How could you forget considering that you have seen my tank in person. I've been using VHO for 4 years and I love them! The URI Superactinic tubes are the best! You'll need a factory modified 220V Icecap ballast as marinebetta has stated.
