the lens gets darker according to the heat and UV rays. In singapore, it wont be as black as sunglasses. In countries like aussie, oh boy it got so dark.

yup, i agree with bro d88p, the lens will turn darker with the amount of sunlight

and UV. ive been wearing them for abt 5 yrs liao .... in spore wont turn

as dark as sunglasses but when i was on the UK, wah.... very dark..

there are a few brands in the market, the one advertise on TV is on the high side.

try to check out the other brands when u visit the optic shops.

I feel personally so myself, as I occasionally have to be in the sun the whole day (outdoor adventure camp) the glasses is alright, it does gets dark and after a while, you don't notice the darkness until you have to go indoors (aircon) then the glasses will change lighter.

I feel that the darkness cannot compare to sunglasses. But since I have to have spectacles and I don't want a pair of sunglasses with power so this is the best solution for me. I don't have to have a second pair of spectacles.

The lens is made of very high quality plastic lens so that I have not got a scratch on the lens yet. Thus the spectacles is rather light.

IMO, yes if you can afford it, it is alright. Yes in Singapore the cost is rather high - the lens is about $220 and the frame another $100 so total about $300. A high investment.

When I did mine, I have a $100 dollar discount vouncher of $100 so the cost was rather low.
