Ground Probe for fish tank

bros-this is what i did for grounding:

1) buy a 3 pin plug,wire,metal probe(anything that doesnt rust)

2)solder or coil the wire to the probe.immerse the probe in water.

3) fix the other end of the wire to the 3 pin plug.make sure its in the ground pin.those dont know which pin please ask the shop seller.if not........ "kebooooommm" ,circuit trip.

4) plug in the 3 pin plug to the wall socket.

WARNING: THIS IS JUST A SAFETY PRECAUTION.BEST TO THROW THAT EQUIPMENT THAT HAVE ELECTRICAL LEAKAGE OR YOUR FISHES BECOME ELECTRIC FISH.

cable that i will give is 2m , those who need longer cables PLS let me know now!

ok dudes, just got the probe and it's working.. have some pics of it as well... very simple looking device actually that will be unnoticed even in the main tank.. to start of with, this is the whole probe...

connect it to any 3 pin socket but you don't have to switch it on.. put the titanium spoke in the tank and... no more loose current!

the thin metal strip is the probe and the pump u see there is the one that is leaking... hmmm no prizes for guessing...

hmmm but if u find any runaway current in your tank, the appliance causing it should be removed and replaced and not be kept in the tank...

my suggestion is that you take out the live and neutral pins and use a single core wire instead of the usual 3 wire core. You will run a risk of electrocution if the live wire shortcircuit.
