Coraline algae remover?

I've a sea urchin (below) grown out in my tank from nowhere and it's getting bigger by the days.

Understand that some sea urchin will remove the coraline algae from the rocks. Will this sea urchin also remove the coraline algae too?

I've tried to remove the urchin, but it sucks very hard on the rock. Anyone knows how to remove it?

i would remove coraline algae..i will jus let it grow..

one way to remove the urchin is to use a scraper n jus force them slowly to retract from the rocks..

Thanks Alvin. Maybe I'm misunderstood... I mean I wanted the coraline algae to grow badly and I'm worried that this urchin it's removing it.

Coralline algae is good, and urchins can certainly strip it very quickly.

Finally got it removed this morning when it almost uprooted my cup coral from the rock.
