live rock giving out "smoke"?

Just happen to see that my live rock is producing stream of "smoke". It is still doing now (more than 10 minutes already!). Wonder if it is harmful. The rock have been with me for more than 6 months.

Maybe some loose substrate is being stirred up by fishes or something? Could you post a pic pls?

it's definitely not loose substrate. just like smoke coming out of volcano. it stopped now after 15min. Just like when you pour high SG water into low SG water.

Hrmz, i guess it should be alright since it has stopped. MY feather worm spewed out some white stuff which i presume is sperm today for a couple of minutes, maybe thats what happened in your case too? Maybe some organism is releasing the particules i guess. Sorry cant help much...
