Electric Blue Hermits/Turbo Snails eat Coralline?

Hi people,

Was wondering if hermits/turbo snails will strip my LRs of coralline, notice some white patch at the spots where the hermits went over. Any advice?

hm usually no... they won't touch coralline.. maybe they were plucking at something else and the coraline flaked off

Oh okayz..was pretty worried...what about turbo snails? They wun take off the coralline too right?

my turbo snails never touch my coraline, as for hermit, not so sure....

nah .. I doubt there's anything that eats coralline algae.. Its made up of calcium.

yesterday just put my turbo snail on my seio with 2 spot on coraline, after it clean all algae on seio, the coraline still there. So I can say turbo snail wont eat coraline.

my turbo snail eat coraline algea at a slow rate,

when i first introduce it to my 1ft tank, it clear all the algea in the tank within a day ... ....after that start to see white patch on those open area that the snail can access....

i need to find one algae crew that is less effective than turbo
