What test kit do i need?

After 2 weeks reading the forum, still havent found a session which talk about the test kit. Could any brother help me to fill in the blank? thanks

These are the basic few you should get..the rest are not really necessary

1) pH

2) Nitrate (No need to get ammonia or nitrite test kit as long as you are PATIENT in cycling your tank)

3) Calcium (If you are keeping hard corals)

4) kH a.k.a carbonate hardness

Basically you would'nt need the rest.

buy the salifert ones. Sera gave me a reading of 600 for its calcium!!!

I agree...Sera gave me 0 reading for nitrates...tested with Salifert and gotch 50ppm.
