I wonder with combination is better

currently using 150w DE 20kk MH with 250W 6500k MH

1. Use the same as above ( will it promote color of sps and growth)

2. Same plus Artinic ( will it promote color of sps and growth)

if artinic with my 6500K MH...will it help for the coloring of corals?

IMO, 1. is gd enough... maybe 2. will give u better viewing pleasure/ helps u supplement on some blind spots....

ML display tank using 150W 20KK + actinic PLs.... maybe u can go there take a look n get some advice from Henry on the advantages of adding supplementary actinic lights?

how u goin to blend 2 diff MH?. how big ur tank?.

4ft? or smaller like 2-3ft?

i think u will get 2 diff colour tons on ur tank.. take look at OP setup. so much diff..

mine is a 3 feet...there's a diff in tone....as 1 side more to soft coral and 1 to SPS and LPS.....so it's ok.....cos most soft coral dun need strong lighting so will be far from my 250w

why does actinic give better viewing pleasures i dun get it.. do you like to see everything bluish ?? or whitish

won't that be a bit too blue~~?

I've used 800W of Radium blue MH with 220W of actinic and didn't find it too blue. It's up to your eyes.

20k is not so blue after all......suppliment with actinic will makes the coral look good.....

20K actually is deep water effect..so the par is not that...with actinic....everything glow....erm....rather those can glow will glow
