Is it cheaper to buy equipment online?

Eyeing on the Denitrstor and skimmer from Aqua Medic. I notice that the price stated online is much cheaper then getting it locally.

Shd I go ahead with the online order or get it locally instead?

Dont forget when you ship/mail /courier it in, you may need to pay taxes! I recently purchase some samurai swords on a US website.Had to collect it from Sing Post at Eunos, and declare them at Outram Police station....anyway after the foreign exchange conversion, GST, if it is still worth the while-go ahead!but if savings marginal, better get from local supplier that can at least give you some sort of warranty

I thought buying online means getting from Pasar Malam in SRC or other forums. If so, yeap, probably cheaper.
