They hide in the crevices and rocks when they feel threatened. Next time drop the food ina nd stay at a distance. They should come out, its the fattest fish in my tank....

Ah well, do you have any other tank mates which might be scaring him? I guess as long as hes eating, it should be alright. Just give it a while...

is your blue tang new to your tank?if yes give it some time to settle down
