depend on what u are feeding ...

for mi when i am feeding brine / mysis shrimp , just throw it in ...

however when i am feeding my pellet, i off my pump andd let it sink slowly so that my fish can catch it .

anyway on off the pump too often will shorten the life of the pump

Any other methods since on/off pump will shorten the lifespan??? I'm feeding pellets and cyclop at the moment!!! Pls advise!!!

some LFS sell those floating disc for the pellet to float within the area ... fish will normally go up there to feed or wait beneath for the pellet to dro p

Thks for the advise! Is Cyclop-eeze more for fishes it coral? I notice that my coral can't seems to feed on Cyclop as it's normally swipe away by the current inside the tank! Hw shd I go abt feeding them with Cyclop?

Erm, if your current is too strong, try reducing your circulation during feeding. Alternately u can use a cut off mineral water bottle to cover the coral you are feeding, the food stays withinn the vicinity of the cut bottle and your corals wont face competition from your fish for food. Oh, both fishes and corals take cyclopeeze.
