Jellyfish tank?

Hi all, I have a 4x2x2 which is slated for FOWLR but toying with the idea of doing a jellyfish tank instead. I understand that there should be minimal LR in these tanks, anyone with more experience care to share?

Do a search in the forum. Remember answering to a few threads with jelly fish queries already.

Do not think anyone here in Singapore actually succeeded in keeping jellyfish as they require special tank with special equipment.

Yeah, as Muar Chee said, jellyfishes belong to a special group which has not been successfully kept for a long time in a home aquarium before. It'll proberbly just last a few weeks at the most. (Heard from a LFS onwer)

Hmm, guess they're not suitable in that case, the LFS was saying that they should be kept in a tank withour rocks if possible as they will only swim in one direction, cant's reverse, thus if got rocks, they may get lodged in between. Guess I will stick to my FOWLR then, thanks for the replies

Hope that we are not putting you off here.

FYI, and since i got time and bother to do so, Jellyfish tank are round tanks, with no mechnical parts in the water. if you ever saw the jellyfish tank in underwater world, you will know what i mean.

They not only will get stuck between LRs, they can get stuck at corners of the tank as well.
