Caulerpa Racemosa

Try to get some of Caulerpa but just wonder if these must come with the liverock or can they just come without any attachment (just like vegetable from the market)? If possible, how to secure them from being blown away by the current?

Hi, many shops do carry them regularly...1 at Bedok "Tropical Fish shop or something at Bedok North , Reborn at lavendar , The LFS at Pasir Ris, need to provide long photo period to prevent them from going asexual, that is turn white and die! polluting your water further! Otherwise, they prefer low flow, why dont you try chaetomorpha instead? Works well for me

Can you tell me more about chaetomorpha.

Where do get this? Are they attach to LR so that can easily placed in the main tank? If it difficult to keep them? Or will they grow very fast?

I am planning to harvest the chaeto, they double in mass after 1 and half month, free float/tumble...like very good flow and lots of lighthing. I bought mine from guy in tampines at $10- so will sell at same price and quantity. like a plastic lunch box full.(those they use at hawker centre to tar pow your chicken rice!

Hi bro,

Do you means these Chaeto is no suitable for main tanks as they are not anchored to LR? Are these Chaeto is to reap as food for those herbivores fishes?
