There's this shop Sim Lim Square that sells LEDs very cheaply. It's on the 2nd or 3rd storey, and is surprisingly cheaper than the shops in Sim Lim Tower.

Guys, pls note 'moonlight' and bluelight are not the same.

Moonlight span at 420nm color temp and the usual blue LED are higher in 450 - 470nm.

SLS do not carry specs so no pt asking them. So, just using blue LED to me is just decorative. It doesn't really bring out the color of the corals. So, do check b4 u get them.

True actinics bulbs are 420nm. ;)

Thanks for the info. Currently what I need for my tank is not for any corals but for my Blacktip Sharks. Since they are noctunal and rather new to the tank, I thought of giving them the moonlight effect.

Ur thoughts on this

Holy crap!...u have black tips? cool!...How big is ur tank?? And care to post pictures? :)
