sea water or mixed salt??

Hi there again ,, Some shop are selling original sea water. So is it better to buy salt water or buy salt and mix for aqua???? Pls anyone there knows the difference between this 2 ways for marine fish or what are the advantages an dis advavtages.

It Really depends on what you want to keep... If unsensitive creatures like soft coral you can get away with using natural seawater... But if u keeping animals such as SPS corals where you need to control the water parameter very strictly it is advisable to use synthetic seawater.. But there are instances of where people using natural seawater and having success of using natural seawater. Good luck

i just changed from saltmix to nsw

i dun tink i will ever go back to saltmix again.

it is just too troublesome and cost slightly more.

Dun think i'll ever go for NSW....simply coz i don't have a CAR!~ Imagine lugging NSW onto public transport.... Have to agree that using saltmix is abit more troublesome but i feel safer using it than NSW, maybe im just paranoid....

yo bro nsw is good and cheap if you have a car but most important the shop carries from a good source and filter well , try to test for parameter till you found a reliable shop .if you dun have a care salt mix is ok too just that leave it overnight to reach your sanlity you want
