You can frag it into smaller piece. No problem as leather is easy to frag.

i don't think it will survive if you let it float on the sea... you need either dive and stick it on the rocks. need to find a good condition of the sea water and location where the corals can srvive. sg water is not suitable for it.

why not give it away for those who can take them?

one word of caution about fragging leathers...i think they release some kind of toxin when frag them...and this toxin affects hard corals...so in a way..leathers are "poisonous"...Nevertheless,leathers are one of the easiest corals to frag.

yap need to frag them seperately in a holding tank and let it recover for a few days before putting it into the display tank...

Hi BRO,,

The guys are quite right, try giving it away to some one with a bigger tank.

BUT

If you really want to return it to the sea, go Labrador Park.

Please note the following things:

1. Go during the lowest tide... 0.1m

2. Make sure you walk til you are waist deep in water.

3. SECURE the leather between some big heavy rocks. If it gets dislodge, then confirm die one.

PS: If any ranger comes, just tell them you're putting in corals and not taking any.

If ok, I can collect from you, then as my schools' students is fragging soft corals, then I will frag this and then can distribute out to those interested later.
