Pls Help ID Fish

I got 2 of these puffer fish. Is it okay to keep them in the tank with other fishes? Now they are in my sump, and I just put them into a new 2 ft tank to aid my cycling of it. Pls advise.

Hrmz, i think most puffers n boxfishes are predatory in nature and might get to your small fishes? Heard they arent v reef safe either....but well, there are exceptions...my boxfish leaves my corals n other fishes alone....bite my finger only....ZZzZZzzZZ

Oh btw, maybe u can use LRs instead of LS to cycle ut tank...just a suggestion...to each his own....

Actually in that new tank, there is already Live Rock but I put these two puffer fish to increase cycling rate. Also to allow me to take picture (if not these 2 are in my another 2ft tank at the bottom in the sump).

By the way I did not buy these 2 puffer fish at any LFS I caught them at the beach.

think if you want to keep puffer you must always keep with caution.

Sometimes they are really nice to your other fishes like my the dog-faced puffer which I got before and the other times they can just chomp alway one leg of your starfish(get wat I mean) so just be careful there are usually no direct answers to this question.
