yo maxstar, the design was it your own idea? i thought for an ios the return pump would go over the top instead of pumping through to the tank? from the bottom like that?

I got ideas from sunps tanks i see in

members tank thread & design myself loh.

Back compartment will work this way,

1) Overflow -> wool filter

2) Cheato Box

2) Other contitioners, carbon etc.. Then pump to display.

The return punp is at bottom so as to create

curents & push sediments up to the overflow.

Now still lacking lightings & mini fans.

Will do those after CNY.

i think it's a great idea to have the powerhead blow out the water directly instead of bringing water over then need abit of piping all over again. Good design thought there, for powerhead to lift detritus off the substrate. but i think may need awhile to stabilise if using sand...ideally i think go bare bottom + u have a powerful pump i think ur waste extraction will be very efficient.

Saw these portable overflow boxes in bangkok...same idea...just put the column in the tank, the powerhead is below then water flow in from the top. by the way maxstar, ur setup like that how much u paid for tank? pm me? so i can gauge how much mine should cost.

I don't wanna put sand but will look super fake so most likely a very thin layer to cover the bottom glass.

Heard from the new fish farm at pasir ris farmway 2 that the nanocube at the tampines shop was done by them at $388 for tank n stand n additional $200 for LR n LS plus 'deco'. Means that the tampines shop paid $588 for it n is making a huge profit.

Eh .. juz wondering what will happen to ur tunez pump. Haha .. n i cant wait rto see it up n running!

The tunze is in my main tank for circulation.

Yup, I can't wait to get it up either.

But have to wait for shops to open then can get equipment.

Dymax light don't have white & blue together.

Actually wanted to get 2 then DIY into the hood.

New LED moon light. Only 6 LED.

Fore ground is T4 8W. Bought at some

lelong shop at Tampines central. (6700k)

Anybody knows if its enuff for my little tank ???
