Skimmer spec & tank capacity

Hi,

Is it better to have skimmer with rating n times of the tank capacity?

e.g. if tank = 200L, for a given brand of skimmer, will the one that can handle 1000L do better than one that can handle only 300L?

Hope experienced users can adivce.

choose a reputable brand like Deltec or HnS..

Definitely a overkill is better so in the future if u upgrade or add more fish no need to upgrade skimmer

yep, go for a known good type, such as becket and then get the biggest one that you can afford.
