BTW, did you wash it with fresh water before? (Must be saltwater)

Brush it and soak in separate container.

If only 1 pcs.. throw it away lah..

If a lot, then, get a powerhead and skimmer to cure it..

Tank 4x2x2.5

It's cured LRs actually. Got an amonia spike last weekend, almost all the living things inside died :( . Now still in my cycle tank.

Can it be cure by just leave it in my tank with filter and skimmer turned on? The tank smell super bad during the amonia spike and after 50% water change, it's getting better now.

Worry the LRs cannot make it :(

It's the living creatures on the outside that has died and are rotting eg. sponges, tunicates, algae.

I suggest you pull the rock out and give it a good scrub with a brush to remove all the decaying stuff.... give it a good rinse with saltwater... and you can reuse the rock. (just wear a nose plug or use tiger oil!)

I think you should have enough ammonia to kickstart your cycle already... you don't need an overload of ammonia.

Don't forget to have water circulation or things may get worse.
