Black Sun coral

Got a nice little black sun coral from Iwarna. The black suns are supposed to be quite rare....are they?

The black suncoral is not rare. I use to keep a piece 2 years ago. However, Suncorals are very high maintenace coral, need frequent feeding. But I must admit they looks very nice and beautiful

I guess so...Iwarna had a few and they were the same price as orange suns. That's why I thought that they can't be rare (I have a coral book that said that they were - perhaps in US or somewhere else they may be )

I have some orange suns, so am in the mode of target feeding them every 2nd night, or so

Wow....cool...i like sun corals....but afraid that i wouldn't have the time or get lazy target feeding them....heard they need strong lighting too?

Sun Corals do not need strong lights. Shady areas should suffice. You heard from reefers or lfs?

Hrmz, think from LFS, nvm....im too lazy to target feed them....better not get in case i kill them...

dun think they are rare.. but i the US, bloodshrimp can fetch a very very high price.. cause to them it is sooo rare!!
