Between the 2, I would think that the hammer will sting the torch. So it is not recommended to place these 2 corals side by side. Just keep them out of each other's tentacles.

This 2 corals will not sting each other. I kept both of them together before. Infact, I epoxy them together. Hehehe

i have hammer, torch and frogspawn all living next to each other n touching - no problems. i was told that the are all from the same family and can co habitate. So far, none have hurt the others

Real reefs don't have glass bottoms....(...think about it)

bubble coral will sting all other corals. that include hammer, octo/frogspawn, torch etc. they are most aggressive among the lps.

some torch coral can get along well with hammer and octo/frogspawn. some spice are more aggressive. although they are the same family. i had two different colour torch (green and brown). and the brown will sting the green (weaker). this is also interesting to see my brown torch sting my hammer too. but placing hammer with octo/frogspawn have no problem :)

maybe u should observe the corals when all the lights go off? heard their stinging tentacles usually come out in the night...

yah i kinda agree wif loster...cos it happened to me b4...it is not a guarantee that every species of these 3 corals can be mixed and not have any damages...

some of mine mixed and do well...while a certain experience turned out bad... :)
