It seems to reach out to grab food when it floats by. Is it part of my frogspawn?

hi bro,

its a barnacle. theyre filter feeders, and youll often see them grow on the sides of harbours or jetties, and on the side and under the hulls of boats. i think theyre quite cool as they make quite swift movements with their radiole like things moving in and out, and yours is dead unique being in the middle of the tentacles of your euphyllid.

That's what I thought initially. But then my friend said that it might be a barnacle. and now bro Ian has confirmed it.

And I must agree that I find the feeding actions really amusing.

ya its me...i mean its barnacle...its quite common to hv they grow

on coral.......
