which one is more exp... Crocea or Maxima... Is T5 enuff to sustain them... which LFS normally have stocks of these clams... thkz...

Frankly it depends on the surface area you are covering...and the depth of your water...and the height of the clam from the T5.

oh... my tank depth is 15 inch... putting on sandbed... so is it enuff...

15 inch sounds ok to me...you should go for a total wattage of >4 watts per gallon.

Get another 40 watts then. Unless you dun mind your clam dying on you after 4-5 months? Clams can live for many YEARS.

i think i nid to consider getting clams again... but they are too tempting....

You might be able to keep them with 3 T5s...just make sure the clam is as close to the bulbs as possible...or put the clam on the sandbed whereby 2 T5s are shining on it?
