DIY Sump Tank(acrylic)

hi guys,

i had DIY a sump tank using a 2 ft acrylic tank. but i'm still in doubt what filtration media, what sequences to put in the new sump. i'm also still new to marine, hope u expert guys out there can help me.

ADD Carbon (GAC) and Rowa Phos..

add filter media in 1st compartment, skimmer in the 2nd compartment, return pump in the 3rd compartment

i had jus done up the sump and my tank. the black colour in the first compartment is bio balls. hope u guys can give me more advise..... cheers

hmmm,

For the tank, its cost me 5 bucks. brand is five plan. i got it from cash converter.

As for the acrylic is i gt FOC from my frd's workshop. u may like to try the hardware shop beside Rainbow at serangoon, they sell cut acrylic to wat size u want.

Silicone, i use wesbond ($3.5) as it has acidic cure.

by the way, how thick is the acrylic? 5mm? does it bend after use a while?

if the acrylic is 5mm and above, i doubt it will bent. mine is 5mm thick, and it doesnt bent.

i was goin to make another DIY tank and sump. u interested? i hv most of the necessary tools. PM me if u interested.

i had DIY a dripping box for my sump.

using 4 pcs of acrylic, 2 egg tray.
