cci[RR]us
Hi, I'm planning to restart my tank, and now I'm thinking on the colour of the background. I plan to keep a pair of mated maroon clowns, a big white anemone and perhaps a couple of tangs. What colour would suit the tank most? Thanks! SRC Member fishtalk1517 Posted January 13, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted January 13, 2006 i use black as over the time, algae will form. With black as a background, it acts as a cover for the urgly algae Quote A person, himself can be his own Lawyer, but he can never be his own Judge ........ SRC Member shoelevy Posted January 13, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted January 13, 2006 i once read that black acts as a very good contrast to bring out the bright colours of corals...can't remember where i read it though

cci[RR]us
I bought black oyama paper. Looks quite good but I didn't paste the paper properly. Argh... Can see the "water marks" when the surface is bone dry when I applied the paper. Why...! leochngyh
I use black - sticker type from advertisement shop. But before placing the the sticker, I use the soap water for easy adjust. After dry, it will stick very good. But dont use the soap powder, it will left bubble. use the dish washing soap.

jervismun
Black background is good coz so many of our equipments are in black, so when you add a pumphead/wavemaker at the back, it will not be so obvious.
