Friends bringing in corals for me from malaysia

bros, need to get some information on this.

my friend is bringing in some corals for me from malaysia.

what is the maximum quantity he can bring in and

does he need to declare at the customs ??

I don't really see the point. Corals sold in Malaysia are higher priced compared to corals in Singapore and the quality is not really there. Unless he can get really exclusive items then it's a different story.

Totally agreed, cheaper and better ones in Spore. Not worth the effort at all!

anyway, its LPS and they are of good quality and cheap price.

They are not really worth the effort... Fish maybe but they dun really have a nice selection of Corals and Fishes there... KL maybe but JB not possible...

Corals? I think the legal limit is 0kg, soft or hard.

Able to bring in soft corals not more than 5 pcs... if i am not wrong... Hard corals cannot..

to share.

A car with a min of 2 persons can bring in fish+corals+seawater = 10kg

but have to declare......

Not much lah maybe a few thousand dollar and plus a smuggling charge. A few years in hotel changi. That's all.

if you dont declare, u wont be breaking the law but they may

question u here and there and your corals cant wait ....

Seahorse are under the "CITES Species",

which means u will need to get the CITIES import/export permit

to bring them it..
