Spy@xe infected my computer!!!

Hi guys, I've got this Spy@xe thing that keeps popping up on my computer and had permanently changed my homepage to their website.

I tried to download it but after downloading, it still remains the same.

My spyware remover had also detected it and I've deleted the file but it still persists.

Anyone can help me on this?

Is best to indentify the name of the spyware. Certain specific spyware needs different cleaning method

download use this and scan the system . And can be also use to delete spyware. Note this software is mean for expert level.

ARGH don't mention format harddisk to me.. got phobia already.. after my old HD crashed it took me good knows how many formats before I got everything back up and running....

For those who might 'kena' this %^!@$#!@$ POS Crap malware in future, Anti Spyware / Malware removal programs do NOT remove Spyaxe completely. The most efficient and effective way I have found is on google. I can't recall the exact name but it's a .bat file that you run while windows is in safe mode. For more details about how this works etc, just run a google on it. It's there.

Just run the .bat file and let everything settle itself

Be careful when you try those anti-spyware programs. There are a large number of them claiming to be anti-spyware, but, are spyware themselves!!!

I have the same problem, a real nuisance and you can't even remove or delete it from you screen!

I suggest you go to your Control panel and click on the icon that says "Add or Remove Program", click on it and then delete those files which states "spyware' or programs which you are not using. I am sure you will find that nuisance spyware there.
