Feeding Station

Hi reefers...

ok..this may come across as a really dumb question...

but anyone here owns the Ocean Nutrition Feeding Frenzy Station? There's this small plastic pick thing that comes wif the pack...what is it used for? And do you attach the square plastic rim directly to the suction that comes wif it?

I have 1 of those feeding stations (though not from Ocean Nutrition) and it also has that plastic pick thing. I got no idea what it is for though!

it is used for clipping the algae(seawood) for the fishes to eat.

haha think so too..But does the feeding station really help anot cause i never did try it before... any comment on that!!

haha...yup u know i think the feeding station really helps...now all my fishes....tangs..clowns...will go to the station automatically once i leave my fish hood...they're very accustomed to it...even new fishes will kaypoh ...and follow the old fishes to the fishing station...

i kinda figured that i'll use the pick to poke into the styrofoam floating square...and den the other end is attached to the suction disc...works this way oso leh!

It shouldn't be that expensive.. Around $3-5?

i've just got mine for 7 dollars

think its pretty cool, as the leftover food will not go all over the tank water surface, instead, it is confined to the feed station

Alternatively, you can get a piece of styrofoam and cut a rectangle out in the centre of the styrofoam. It can make an improvised feeding station.
