my tank stabilised already... added in 1 angel to see if everything is ok, which i tested, and it seems to be... will update when everything is confirmed.. haha... oh ya, got some new corals today... nothing fanciful, cos i am on a budget... haha...

anyway both my blennies died... along with a lot of the tank mates. reason being a pretty bad ammonia spike when my blue linka died and was left there hidden behind the rocks for a few days... haiz.

Oh, theres this ammonia detector by seachem which has a sticker that changes colour as the ammonia level gets higher. I think it's pretty useful and might help prevent future cases of undected ammonia spike. Glad to hear your tank is better, FAC chairman huh?

everything growing at such a fast rate, i have no idea what my mum is feeding them... black velvet damsel, juz over an inch when i got it a month ago, already over 1.5 inches long now. sweetlips even worse. huge. and the sand sifting goby made the hill in the middle of the tank, burying everything including my yumas under...

its a red sponge which i got from SL... not doing very well... some die off seen... my SG around 1.020-1.021, Ca way way over at 500, NO2 at 15, still waiting patiently for it to go down... haven changed water ever since my tank semi-crashed a few weeks ago... every since i switched over to this bigger tank... i am such an irresponsible owner.. haiz.

on a different note, feeding in action...

my very first hand me down tank, NO2 is at 100 ppm after a 50% water change, clowns and other LS still swimming around happily... ate like pigs also... so i cant really understnad why everyone gets so agi when i talk bout my NO2 levels...

Your sweetlip will grow very big for your tank then you need to give it away. But good thing it eats....

Also the star polyps has different grade. Yours may be the batam ones so it is less bright green in color. But it will spread very fast...
