Brine Shrimps

Recommended Posts

Just a short question.

the shops sells brine shrimps in a bag. And there are so many of them, I dont think my fish can finish eating in one go

Can I freeze them and feed them slowly to the fish, or will they survive in the tank so that the fishes can eat them..

thanks

Well I usually put them in a pail with aeration and they last for 2-3 days more thats all. If u put them in fridge (not freezer) , they can last longer. I havent tried putting into freezer yet.

Main Tank : 48 inch by 36 inch by 28 inch (2 sides starphire glass)
Sump Tank :
Return Pump :
Chiller : Starmax Compressor 1 HP Drop coil
Chiller Return Pump

put them in a container and store in the fridge. they can last 3 days. Some will die by the 3rd day but there will still be some live ones left.

freeze them, that means they die? might as well buy the hikari cubes. You get more food for less price.
