How Long Can Fishes Survive Without Food..

Recommended Posts

4 days? Yeah no problem IMO. Especially for grazing fishes like tangs. For fishes that require frequent feeding like anthias... yeah.... they will be skinny but they will probably survive by hunting down pods and stuff.

Fishes will still be well after 2 weeks or more without active feeding.

IMO, feeders are unreliable and a waste of money.

As to family, unless they live in the same house as you and have seen your feeding regime, I wouldn' t trust them either. They are likely to dump the whole package in because the fishes "seems to like it", and pollute your tank.

yes family will in all gd intention try their best to take care. But from personal experience, usually end up overfeeding & u come home to an algae bloom
