T5 Reflectors

I have a few amateur questions:

1) Saw from DE Lightings, they sell T5 reflectors. Wats the purpose?

2) If I have white light and the reflector is blue, does it cast blue light onto my tank?

3) wat material is the reflector? anyone knows where to get a cheaper variation of this reflector?

1) Reflectors are used to make the most out of your tubes by reflecting light rays that are not directed downwards into the tank

2) Not very sure but if you want blue, use a blue tube with a quality reflector

3) The reflectors that our sponsors offer are already at a very good price and not to say that they are specially designed with calculated angles to bring the most out of the tubes

are u referring to the blue plastic on the reflectors itself??....cos i dun rmb seeing any reflectors that is blue in colour...

if its jus a plastic protector...be sure to tear it out b4 usage to get the full reflection of the lightings spectrum..

u can try aquaz parabolic reflectors as well...

not that expensive

and yes i believe the blue thing u r reffering to , is the protection layer .. u need to tear it off

oRH~~~~ So those are actually blue plastic protections of the shiny silver reflectors.

ok, so need to say any further since there are no blue color reflectors.
