Help on powder blue~

I just realise that there are many small lumps on the powder blue tang's body. After i bought from lfs, i spotted some lumps at one side of the body but wasnt really alot so didnt bothered bout it..after 2 days, both sides start to develop small lumps, fish still swimming actively n grazing on rocks but not sure wats on his body....help needed plz~ newbie to the disease world~...arghhh

it could be due to that cyanide has taken effect on the body and sad to sae it may die... <_<

:( no cures at all? sighzz..maybe next time when i buy fish should be extra vigilant and careful in selection....the lumps was really very very minor when i took out from the bag....thanks for clearing my doubts...

powder blues shld be quarantine for more den a week b4 introducing into ur main tank....is the matter of how much cyanide they spray...if it is jus a light dose....maybe still can live long.....if heavy those.....chances are it will get some disease n den die of..

Suggest you QT it and make sure he eats. Then he should recover.

Hmm...i'm wondernig if its ich instead....can see that the lumps have subside become wat seems like a faint white dot like a small pimple protruding...shd i do ich treatment on it?

if it is possible to take it our n QT in another tank will be the best option....if the fella starts to feed vigorously....it stand a high chance...
