jc: there's no "right" type of fans, but most of us use the PC fan size, but up to you to choose, just take note of the current usage of the fan, usu 0.26mA, and make sure that you buy a DC adaptor with at least 200mA MORE than the total current usage of the fans. and usu the fans are in 12V, so simply decide how many fans you want, connect the fans in parallel, and connect to 12V DC adaptor.

Hi there.......

I juz bought a pc fan that has been modified (I mean there's no need to buy seperate fan & AC-DC converter) at a shop in SLS 4th flr. It cost me $25 for the fan & its "plug & play". It may cost more than the DIY fans but its cheaper than the fans that is sold in LFS which cost abt $45 - $80. It works very well & I think it's comparable to those fans at the LFS.
