As Panzz said, if it is open for a while den no prob. but if it is opened

for a few days without closing, den sure sign of stress. the thing with

yuma is that it can be doing well for weeks and even mnths and den

1 day, it will open mouth and melt away.

what u can try other than change water is change location

such as less/more light and/or less/more flow etc

1 shut its gap after a while.

1 almost melted. (my 2nd fav. :pinch: )

1 half open half close.

I think the stress is from me topping up water every evening.

My tank loses 1.5-1.8L a day due to my fan.

I just pour the water in & salinity lowers suddenly.

I do not have auto top up and my DIY dripper failed.

I cannot find a small plastic value to control flow.

The metal ones will rust.

Anybody have the plastic value or know where i can get it?

1 more thing. Pharmacies do not sell dripping device.

Some reefer stated in a reply somewhere & made me run

around looking to no avail.

freshwater fish shop oso got sell the green plastic "tap".

I had a spare at home (punggol 21) if u need it urgently.

As for shifting the yuma, what I meant is to shift and monitor for a while

like a week or so. my death rate for yuma when they gap is 100% :(

that's y i stop yuma already
