it is a light.... stronger den PL but weaker den MH... IMO, good for newbie like me.. haha... though quite exp but at least cheaper den MH.. correct me if i am wrong...

The T stand for the diameter of the tube..

Like T8 = FL

ATI work well for me but i would still want MH

T5 is a type of lighting that is the best alternative if you can't afford metal halide and not going into sps. Moreover, it is sufficient enough to ehance the growth of mushrooms, colour for fishes (maybe but mine seem nicer in body ues), some anemones and some other marine organisms.

IMO, it surpasses Pl lights in terms of lower temperatures as they do not emit a higher temperature than what PL lights do.

I have also upgraded to T5s which is from one of our sponsors, Edmund from Eaquanature.I have the four different types and each serves a function but IMO, settle for 2 aquablue plus instead if you wan a combi of 1aquablue and 1 actinic.

Mine combi is 2 Blue Plus and 1 Blue Special very cool look ..Got it from Edmund and itis a good price deal as he would sent it down to your home if the order is over $100..

ATI is better than PL (my point of view)

As it emits less heat and has a longer shelf life .. As PL always turn yellow tin after a short 4 months.. And certain brand of PL cost as much or even more than ATi (T5) .. I would say itis the next best thing to have after MH..

You could also get ATi controls from edmund to have the dawn and dust effects ..
