Algae growth is stimulated by high phosphate levels. Perhaps, you would like to try something to remove the phosphate in your water. At the moment, I am using Seachem Seagel. It is a mixture of Seachem Matrix Carbon and Phosgard. The carbon removes the yellow tinge in the water and the phosgard, well, removes phosphate.

I've been using this for a month already and the algae growth has slowed dramatically.

Controlling Algae Growth by Controlling Phosphate

Hope it'll be a solution to your algae problem! ;)

I only wanna get rid of the brown. The greens look kinda nice

& peaceful. Will the Seachem Seagel stop both !?

Thanks Bro & Sis.

Now i have so many methods to try.

is this the one ya mention? thanks thanks.

Any special needs for the above fish?

Do I need to supplement its diet with other food? Or juz the aglae in the tank.

Thanks in advance.
